Head of the West Coast Communications and Informatics, Statistics and Encryption Service, Suryadi said, the 71 villages included in the blank spot area are spread across 10 sub-districts in Pesisir Barat Regency, Lampung Province.

His party also has several times proposed efforts to network the internet to enter some of these areas.

"We have also proposed to the Ministry of Communication and Informatics through BAKTI, then to providers such as Telkomsel, Indosat too, because indeed in 71 villages the internet network is quite weak and some even have no network at all," said Suryadi, when confirmed, Thursday 24 August 2023 p.m.

Suryadi added, currently his party is still trying to ensure that all villages in Pesisir Barat Regency have proper internet access. Considering that now has shifted to the digitalization era, people must feel the current technological advances.

"So we want our people in 10 sub-districts and 71 villages to get proper internet access, because we know that now access to information obtained from the internet is all because of the digitalization era that has developed," he added

He hopes that in the future the Central Government can realize what has been proposed by the West Coast Regency Government to improve the quality of the internet network which will then have an impact on the progress of the West Coast Regency itself.

Suryadi detailed that the 71 villages that still have blank spots are in the Districts of Lemong, Pekon Tanjung Jati, Tanjung Sakti, Way Batang, Cahaya Negeri, Malaya, Bandar Pugung, Penengahan, Sukamulya, Parda Haga, Rata Agung, Lemong, Pagar Dalam, Bambang.

Then Pesisir Utara District, Pemancar Village, Gedau, Batu Raja, Karang City, Way Narta, Balam, Kerbang Dalam, Kebang Langgar, Negeri Ratu, Kuripan, Walur, Padang Rindu.

Furthermore, Pulau Pisang Labuhan District, Bandar Dalam, Pekon Lok, Sukadana, Sukamarga, Market Island.

Way Krui District, Labuhan Mandi Pekon, Mount Kemala, East Kemala Mountain, Sukabaru, Banjar Agung, Penggawa Lima Ilir, Penggawa Lima, Bumi Sane, Pajar Bulan.
