Lampung, recently.

According to him, to care for and maintain the integrity of Indonesia, concrete steps must be taken by all stakeholders, including the role of the youth.

"We don't want divisions to occur in Indonesia. So I hope the Scout Movement can be at the forefront in defending the country, defending the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. There shouldn't be divisions," he pleaded.

He considered that divisions were prone to occur, especially ahead of the implementation of simultaneous regional head elections. This is due to the many politics of pitting one against the other carried out by irresponsible persons.

"Divisions can occur through pitting one against the other by exploiting negative issues. What else is close to a big agenda like what we are currently facing together, namely simultaneous local elections," he added.

Because of that, he requested that the entire Scout Movement practice Dasa Dharma and uphold Tri Satya and practice Pancasila values in everyday life.

"Especially for the younger generation, we in Lampung Province together with all regencies and cities are committed to carrying out activities that foster unity and unity," he said. (*)
