Kupastuntas.co, Lampung English - The Civil Service Police Unit of Metro City conducted a raid on a house on Jalan Gatot Subroto, Yosodadi Village, East Metro District which was suspected of being the place for Open Booking Out. As a result, as many as 5 perverted couples who were not husband and wife were found making love in these rooms.

From the information gathered by Kupastuntas.co, the Civil Service Police Unit conducted a raid on the house that was suspected of being the open booking out location on Saturday 3 June 2023 at 08.00 PM.

The Head of the Civil Service Police Unit for the City of Metro, Jose Sarmento, through the Head of Regional Regulation Enforcement, Yoseph Nenotaek confirmed that his party had carried out a raid on the house that was allegedly used as a place for covert prostitution.

"That night we found 5 non-husband and wife couples from the house. We found all 5 pairs in the room, and all of the ones we secured were already working. All of them we found in the room we carried out coaching, we interrogated them first at the office in accordance with the investigation rules and we will follow up again," said Yoseph when confirmed, Sunday 4 June 2023.

Yoseph explained that the house was allegedly contracted by a syndicate that provides hourly rental rooms for immoral needs. It is known, as many as 5 residents from outside Metro City have been identified as running a room rental business per hour in Metro City.

"According to reports from the local community, in the Yosodadi sub-district area, there are 5 houses rented by 5 people. So the rent is a fee to rent one house for 1 year at a price of IDR 18 million and they only pay IDR 8 million, the remaining IDR 10 million haven't been paid yet," he said.

"So the five tenants have their own rooms, so those rooms are what they function to rent back to non-husband and wife couples," he added.

This group sells rented rooms through social media Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram for IDR 30,000 to IDR 50,000 per hour.

"After we received reports from the public regarding the alleged location of the prostitution, they marketed the hourly room services via Facebook and WhatsApp social media. The prices varied, ranging from IDR 30,000 to IDR 50,000 per hour," he said.

When the Civil Service Police Unit was collecting intelligence data, it was found that many young couples who were not husband and wife were going in and out of the building.

Ironically, there are even non-husband and wife couples in high school uniforms in Metro who use the hourly open booking out room service.

"They have rented the building for a month, and our Intel members have been monitoring and checking and the results found that many people were coming in and out in pairs, suspected not to be husband and wife, and there were even high school children who used the place as partners and not husbands. wife," said Joseph.

During the interrogation of the five non-spouses who were successfully secured by the Civil Service Police Unit during the raid, it was discovered that the five were not citizens of Metro City.

"After we checked the 5 pairs that were netted, it turned out that all of them who rented the place on an hourly basis were not residents of Metro City, there were residents from South Lampung, there were Pesawaran, there were from East Lampung and there were those from Mesuji and Central Lampung," he explained.

Meanwhile, the Civil Service Police Unit succeeded in conducting an investigation of one of the five suspected syndicates providing hourly room rental services.

"Meanwhile, there are five people who rent the building and they are a group or syndicate, and all of them are also not Metro residents. Their modus operandi is that they contract the building to be leased back for an hourly duration. So this syndicate sells the hourly room rental service through social media. Facebook and WhatsApp," he explained.

"We have interrogated one tenant of the building and we will conduct another interrogation of four others. We will also summon the original owner of the building to ask for a statement," he said.

Until now, the Civil Service Police Unit is still investigating the motives of the group who rented the house to rent it out for hours.

It should be noted that the raid carried out by the Civil Service Police Unit was based on reports from the public regarding the house which was indicated as a place for prostitution. The raid was carried out referring to Metro City Regional Regulation number 9 of 2017 concerning public order, cleanliness and beauty of the City. (*)
