Police and Pertamina Investigate Fuel Casting Warehouse Fire Incident in Kemiling, Lampung

Kupastuntas.co, Bandar Lampung - Together with the police, PT Pertamina conducted an in-depth investigation regarding the fire in a warehouse suspected of casting fuel oil on Imam Bonjol road no 575, Kemiling Permai Village, Kemiling District, Bandar Lampung City.

The fire is known to have occurred on Tuesday 30 May 2023 at around 23.30 WIB. As a result, 1 unit of Pertamina tanker which was allegedly owned by PT. Adikarya Geluran was burnt. It was reported that one person was injured in the incident.

When confirmed, Senior Supervisor Communication & Relations Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel, Haris Yanuanza said that his party had coordinated with law enforcement to conduct an investigation into the fire incident.

"We continue to coordinate with law enforcement officials in investigating the incident and we fully support the investigation process carried out by law enforcement agencies," Haris said when confirmed. Wednesday, May 31, 2023.

Meanwhile, Kasatreskrim Polresta Bandar Lampung, Kompol Dennis Arya Putra, said that his party was investigating the fire incident.

"Currently it's still investigating," said Kompol Dennis.

Previously, a warehouse suspected of being an illegal storage of fuel oil, at Jalan Imam Bonjol no 575, Kemiling Permai Village, Kemiling District, was burnt to the ground, Tuesday 30 May 2023 evening.

The owner of the warehouse named Sudirmansyah. To extinguish the fire, the Bandar Lampung City Fire Department spent 9 tanks and the fire was extinguished after 2 hours. (*)
