Desperate To Buy Milk For His Child, Sariyanto Steal Eggs at the Company Where He Works
Kupastuntas.co, South Lampung - Desperate to buy milk for
his 2 year old son, Sariyanto (25) was determined to commit an act of theft by
weighting (Curat) a total of 360 chicken eggs with his friend Rustamin (28) at
the Kalianda Farm Company (PT) which located in Tajimalela Village, Kalianda
District, South Lampung (Lamsel) Regency.
This was disclosed by Sariyanto, who works as a cage
caretaker at PT Kalianda Farm after being arrested by the Kalianda Police
Criminal Investigation Unit last Sunday (28/5).
"Because there is a need to buy children's milk, as
well as household needs, sir," said Sariyanto when met at the Criminal
Investigation Unit of the Kalianda Police, Wednesday (31/5/2023).
Sariyanto has worked for the laying hens company for 7
years, his job is to collect chicken eggs from the cage.
"I am an egg collector, because I am a cage
operator," he continued.
He said, usually only take 5 to 10 eggs for consumption at
home. Now, he could only regret his actions.
"You can eat it yourself, at most 5-10 items, sometimes
people buy it if I don't finish eating it. I'm sorry, sir," said
Sariyanto.
Rustamin (28) who works at PT Kalianda Farm as a driver
agrees that he has only taken the company's chicken eggs 3 times.
"Only 4 eggs if not 5 chicken eggs, sold if a resident
orders 1 kilogram. 3 times (stealing) sir, still in 2023," he said.
Rustamin has been depending on his life for a living, at the
chicken egg laying company for 10 years.
When asked by the Kalianda Police Chief AKP Sugianto
regarding the mode of theft they are practicing, he answered this way, "In
the cage they put (stolen eggs) in my car, they were dropped off in the
employee's mess," he said.
Previously, the two cheaters were arrested 12 hours after
committing their crimes.
"The two perpetrators carried out the cursing action on
Sunday, May 28, 2023, at around 10.00 WIB, and were successfully arrested at
22.00 WIB on the same day," said the Kapolsek, representing the Kapolres
Lamsel AKBP Edwin, when confirmed, Tuesday (30/5) yesterday . (*)
