Fuel Oil Consumption During Homecoming and Eid Return in Lampung Increases 18 Percent
Kupastuntas.co, Bandar Lampung - PT. Pertamina Patra Niaga noted, that the consumption of gasoline during homecoming and backflow during Idul Fitri 1444 Hijriah in Lampung Province increased by up to 18 percent.
"For Lampung as a whole, consumption of gasoline-type fuel has increased by 18 percent, while gasoil has not changed significantly and LPG has increased by 6 percent," said Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR Pertamina Regional Sumbagsel, Tjahyo Nikho Indrawan when asked for a statement. He explained, the highest fuel consumption occurred at the peak of the homecoming flow, namely D-2 Eid or to be precise on April 20 2023. Where gasoline consumption in one day reached 73 percent of normal conditions.
"At the peak of the homecoming flow, consumption of gasoline increased by 73 percent from normal consumption. So that the public's total consumption of gasoline type fuel was 4,138 kiloliters and gasoil itself was 1,383 kiloliters," he explained.
Meanwhile for the South Sumatra region, consumption of gasoline-type fuel increased by 11 percent, LPG increased by 6 percent and avtur increased by 17 percent.
"At its peak, gasoline increased to 58 percent of normal consumption. So that the public's total consumption of gasoline-type fuel was 12,805 KL and gasoil itself was 3,995 KL," he explained.
Head of the Energy and Mineral Resources Office of Lampung Province, Hery Sadli said, the diesel quota in Lampung in 2023 is 833,991 kiloliters and pertalite is 842,237 KL.
"Every big day, such as Eid and New Year, Pertamina itself provides an additional quota. So in a year the calculation is for 14 months. So there is no problem with fuel stock itself," said Hery. (*)
