Kupastuntas.co, Lampung English - A 43-year-old man, a resident of Lemong District, West Coast District, Lampung Province, was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the West Coast Police because he had the heart to have intercourse with a minor, namely Bunga, 16 years old, four times in three different places.

West Lampung Police Chief, AKBP Alyshendra, through the Criminal Investigation Unit of the West Coast Police, Iptu Riki Nopariansyah, said that the victim's parents, Saimin, were known on May 3, 2023 in a cocoa garden in Sukamulya Village, Lemong District.

"Then the victim's parents reported to the West Lampung Police with Report Number: LP/B-14/V/2023/SPKT/Res Pesibar/Polda LPG, May 5, 2023 based on this report, we immediately conducted an initial investigation," said Riki, when confirmed, Wednesday 10 May 2023.

Based on the victim's statement, the perpetrator committed the depraved act four times, twice at the perpetrator's house, twice at the perpetrator's cocoa plantation. Apart from having intercourse, the perpetrator also sexually abused the victim while traveling from North Lampung Regency to the West Coast.

After carrying out a series of investigations and gathering sufficient evidence and information, his party immediately moved to secure the suspected perpetrator, the perpetrator was successfully arrested at his residence on Tuesday 9 May 2023 around 06:00 PM.

Based on initial information, the mode of the perpetrator committed the act, namely by persuading him to give some money and to buy a new motorbike from the dealer and to buy a mobile phone, so that the victim followed the perpetrator's desires.

At the time of the arrest, the police also secured a number of pieces of evidence at the perpetrator's residence, including a wooden box, counterfeit IDR 100,000 notes in 88 sheets of clear plastic, counterfeit IDR 100,000 notes in 210 sheets of black plastic bags.

"Then one black pump air rifle, one black gas cylinder air rifle, one black FN replica pistol, one black revolver replica pistol, black handle, one black revolver replica brown revolver pistol, two 9 mm caliber active bullets," he explained.

Then eight 22 mm caliber active bullets, four cartridges, one wig, one face mask, six coasters, one black tasbih whip, one gold teapot, one jewelry bracelet, two acrylic ornaments, three plastic bags with each plastic containing yellow paper emblazoned with Arabic letters in red ink.

"Folds of metallic red paper, and an ampoule tube filled with red liquid, a keris blade with a black sheath, a black keris sheath, a gold spearhead which is suspected to have been used to seduce the victim," he explained .

Currently the perpetrators along with direct evidence have been brought to the Pesisir Barat Police Headquarters and in this case it is still being developed whether there were other victims committed by the perpetrators whose victims did not have the courage to report to the police.

The perpetrator was charged with the criminal act of intercourse with a minor as referred to in Article 81 and/or Article 82 of the Republic of Indonesia Law number 17 of 2016 concerning government regulations in lieu of Law number 1 of 2016 concerning the second amendment to Law No. 23 of 2002 concerning child protection to become law by minimum sentence of 5 years, maximum 15 years.
