"The problem of traffic jams at the Merak Port and toll roads (Cikampek and Kalikangkung segments) in 2022 has become a warning that there are problems in the transportation sector that must be taken seriously by the government and all stakeholders," said Ilham, his nickname, in a statement. written, Sunday 30 April 2023.

Specifically for crossings, the National Police and the Ministry of Transportation and PT ASDP have worked well together. There were concerns that a similar problem would arise with the 2022 traffic incident at the Merak port.

"The various tactical steps that have been prepared still raise anxiety, will it prevent a similar traffic jam from happening in 2022? However, it seems that there will be no problems like last year that will occur in 2023," said Ilham.

The Chairman of MTI for the Lampung Region, Adit, briefly added, the government's management of homecoming and returning traffic has its own evaluation value. (*)
