Kupastuntas.co, Metro - The Lampung Metro Police Narcotics Research Unit arrested 14 drug suspects and seized 23.74 grams of various types of drugs and hundreds of dangerous drugs.

Metro Police Chief, AKBP Heri Sulistyo Nugroho, through the Head of Narcotics Unit, IPTU AE Siregar said that the dozens of people arrested were caught in the Antik Krakatau 2023 operation which took place from April 3 to April 11, 2023.

"In the Antik operation, the Metro Police Narcotics Unit managed to arrest 14 men who acted as users and dealers in Metro City," Siregar told Kupastuntas.co. Monday, May 1, 2023.

From the hands of the dozens of suspects, the police found evidence in the form of 23.74 grams of various types of drugs and 329 items of dangerous drugs.

"During the operation, we also found evidence in the form of crystal methamphetamine weighing 1.62 grams, 4.82 grams of cannabis, 17.3 grams of sinte for a total of 23.74 grams. Then 329 dangerous drugs," he said.

The dozens of people who were arrested were arrested in 9 police reports, from 6 sub-districts in Bumi Sai Wawai.

"The first was on Monday April 3 2023 at around 01.00 WIB, we secured two youths in the Tejoagung Village traditional market area. They each had the initials TS (19) and MKF (18) who are residents of Banjar Rejo Village, District Batanghari, East Lampung," he explained.

Siregar said, based on the results of the interrogation, the two youths planned to consume the cannabis they owned at their residence.

"The two were found to have had marijuana weighing 2.82 grams hidden in a pack of Sampoerna Mild cigarettes. They planned to consume the cannabis obtained from buying it online at the house of one of them," he said.

Furthermore, two other suspects, each with the initials S (57) and DMBM alias Deni (46), were arrested in the Imopuro Village area on April 3, 2023 at 01.30 WIB.

"At that time members of the Metro Police Narcotics Satres raided two people who wanted to enjoy methamphetamine at a house on Jalan Raden Imba Kusuma, Imopuro Village, Central Metro. At that location we found a package of methamphetamine weighing 0.18 grams and a set of tools. smoke methamphetamine or bong," he explained.

Then, the arrest was continued for a methamphetamine-type drug abuser with the initials GS alias Gali (31) in the Yosomulyo Village area, Central Metro District at 04.00 WIB.

"We secured this GS when he was about to consume methamphetamine in the Irrigation Alley on Jalan Hasanudin, Yosomulyo, Metro Center. The evidence from the suspect GS was 0.18 grams of crystal methamphetamine in a clear plastic clip, as well as a methamphetamine suction device, alias bong," he said.

Then, on the same day at 17.30 WIB, the police again arrested two other suspects in the Ganjar Agung Village area, Metro Barat District. Both of them have the initials P (36), a resident of Sumberejo Village, Batanghari District, East Lampung, and PD alias Ipol (31), a resident of Terbanggi Subing, Gunung Sugih District, Central Lampung.

They were arrested in a parking lot at the Indah Permai hotel on Jalan Jendral Sudirman, Ganjar Agung, Metro Barat. During the arrest, police found several packages of methamphetamine ready to be distributed.

"We secured a small clear plastic clip containing methamphetamine weighing 0.28 grams, a glass of pyrex, a small digital scale. Apart from being a dealer, we also arrested an active methamphetamine user. Members also secured four clear plastic clips. the remaining use of methamphetamine type narcotics weighing 0.44 grams," he explained.

The chronology of the arrests of three drug abuse suspects in the area of Metro Village, Metro Pusat District and Mulyojati Village, Metro Barat District.

"Then we secured two drug abusers in the Metro Village area at 20.30 WIB. They had the initials SA (30) and his partner with the initials MY alias Boncos (37) who were going to consume methamphetamine in the house on Jalan Mawar, Metro Village. We found items evidence of methamphetamine weighing 0.24 grams and a set of methamphetamine or bong suction devices," explained Kasat.

"Furthermore, one person was arrested in Mulyojati Village with the initials M (44), a resident of Depok Rejo Village, Trimurjo, Central Lampung with evidence of methamphetamine weighing 0.30 grams. We secured this suspect while crossing Jalan Soekarno-Hatta, Mulyojati, West Metro. It is suspected that the methamphetamine was intended to be distributed in the Metro City area," he added.

Then on Wednesday 5 April 2023, the police again arrested 4 Obaya dealers and abusers of gorilla tobacco or synthetic marijuana, aka sinte. The suspects, namely DP (22), a resident of West Hadimulyo, Central Metro, were arrested for possessing 322 items of the dangerous drug branded Tramadol HCL.

Then YF (26) and KA (23) who were arrested on Thursday (6/4) at around 21.30 WIB in possession of 7 Hexymer branded obaya items. Both are known to be residents of Jalan Melati, Metro Village, Central Metro District.

"The last thing we secured was Polres BA (23), a resident of Tejosari, East Metro. From this suspect, we found 17.3 grams of gorilla tobacco or synthetic marijuana, aka sinte," he stated. (*)
