Indonesian President, Joko Widodo Scheduled to Visit Central Lampung, Residents Hope to Bring Solutions for the Rumbia road
Kupastuntas.co, Central Lampung - The damaged road that went viral in Rumbia District, Central Lampung Regency, will finally be visited by the number one person in this country. On his schedule, President Joko Widodo will visit Seputih District, Surabaya and see the provincial road in Rumbia, which is already badly damaged.
Assistant 1 for Administration, Adi Sriono said, currently his party together with the Regional Apparatus Organization and the Military District Commander are in Seputih Banyak District and are still waiting for Paspampres to receive their direction.
"The plan is for the President to pay a visit on May 3, 2023. Meanwhile, what we get will be to Seputih, Surabaya and Rumbia to see the damaged roads," said Adi, when questioned. Monday, May 1, 2023.
Chairman of the Regional People's Representative Council from the PDI Perjuangan faction, Sumarsono said, President Jokowi's visit to Rumbia after hearing residents' complaints showed the President had a sense of responsibility to his people.
"With his arrival, people's complaints will definitely be resolved. We'll see tomorrow what the President will say," said Sumarsono.
Apart from that, he continued, later the PDI Perjuangan will also set up a post in Rumbia to welcome the arrival of President Jokowi.
Meanwhile, Panji Wibowo, a resident of Rumbia RB 3, was very grateful for the news that President Jokowi would visit Central Lampung.
"The screams of the people of Rumbia have been heard by the President," said Panji.
He and other residents hope that President Joko Widodo's visit to Central Lampung, especially in Rumbia Subdistrict, will bring a solution for the Rumbia road which has been damaged for a long time.
"If later it has been repaired, of course this is the handiwork of the President for us," he said.
Farid, a resident of the Bumi Nabung sub-district, said he was surprised and could hardly believe the Indonesian President's visit to Rumbia and Seputih Surabaya.
"Really cool, the viral road was immediately responded to by our President. Hopefully, the arrival of Mr. Joko Widodo will bring blessings to the people of Rumbia," he hoped. (*)
