Thousands of Prospective 2023 Regular Hajj Pilgrims in Lampung Indonesia Have Not Paid Payments
Kupastuntas.co, Lampung English - The Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Lampung Province, Indonesia recorded that there were 2,653 prospective regular pilgrims who had not paid their bills.
The total number of prospective 2023 regular pilgrims who have been recorded from all districts and cities in Lampung reaches 7,637 people.
The Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Lampung, Puji Raharjo said, payment of the repayment of the pilgrimage fee itself was open April 11 to May 5 2023.
"Until this afternoon, 4,984 people had made payments, while the remaining 2,653 people had not paid off," said Puji, when questioned, Thursday 27 April 2023.
He revealed that the total quota of 7,637 regular hajj pilgrims this year consists of 662 people who are reserves and 6,975 people who are non-reserves.
"From the total quota, Bandar Lampung has the most, namely 1,546 people, followed by Central Lampung Regency with 1,339 people," said Puji Raharjo.
If the congregation does not pay off the payment, then no further confirmation is needed because the departure will automatically be postponed to next year.
Meanwhile, there are as many as 5 percent of the elderly pilgrims in Lampung or as many as 353 elderly.
"For all of Lampung there are 18 groups. Now each group has 5 assistants," he added.
Meanwhile, the Head of Hajj and Umrah Organizers at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Lampung, Ansori F Citra added, if there are pilgrims who withdraw or do not pay the settlement. Then the backup will automatically advance, which is also in the order of its name.
"But later on, if there are those who don't go this year, then next year it will be a priority to go on pilgrimage," said Ansori. (*)
