Kupastuntas.co, Bandar Lampung - The Bandar Lampung City Government together with the National Amil Zakat Agency have started distributing rice assistance to underprivileged people in twenty sub-districts.

The total distribution of this assistance was twenty-four thousand sacks of rice weighing five kilograms or one hundred and twenty tons.

"Today we are distributing rice to twenty-four thousand heads of households, rice from Baznas," said Mayor of Bandar Lampung Eva Dwiana, after distributing rice in South Telukbetung District. Monday, April 10, 2023.

Hopefully, said Eva, this rice assistance can help the people of Bandar Lampung.

Apart from that, he explained, his party would also distribute rice again to more than one hundred thousand heads of families from the Social Service and the Food Service.

"Before Eid, God willing, it will be distributed to all people in need," he said.

Commissioner of the National Amil Zakat Agency for Bandar Lampung City, Cahyo Prabowo said, as much as one hundred and twenty tons of rice will be distributed to people in twenty sub-districts.

Of this amount, he explained, his party distributed it through sub-districts and also through mass organizations and mosques in the Bandar Lampung area.

"Hopefully what we distribute is right to those who are entitled to receive it," he said. (*)
