Kupastuntas.co, Lampung English - A fuso truck with police number BE 8516 AC loading palm oil overturned while crossing a road incline in Keputran Village, Sukoharjo District, Pringsewu Regency, Lampung, Sunday 26 March 2023 around 10.30 WIB.

Local residents said the truck was driving from Pringsewu to Kalirejo, Central Lampung.

However, when passing at the scene of the incident, it was suspected that the car was not strong enough to climb due to the damaged road conditions. As a result, the car swerved to the left and eventually overturned. Loads of palm oil scattered onto the road.

Rosulin, 41 years old, a truck driver, said the truck he was driving overturned not because it was carrying more cargo, but because of the potholes on the road.

"It's difficult to choose a path because the potholes are almost even. The load of palm oil that I carry is at most around 9 tons," said Rosulin, Sunday, March 26, 2023.

The West Coast resident revealed that quite a number of trucks carrying loads had overturned at the local location due to the potholes in the road conditions.

"As far as I can remember, trucks have rolled over 6 times. The drivers hope the government will immediately repair the damaged road conditions so that a disaster like this doesn't happen again," he said.

Based on data from Kupastuntas.co, an incident where a car overturned at a local location occurred on August 24, 2022, when a truck with number BE 8477 RW loaded hundreds of sacks filled with chaff.

A similar incident occurred again on January 9, 2023. Truck number BE 9742 UG loading 10 tons of palm oil overturned while driving from Pringsewu to Kalirejo, Central Lampung. (*)
