Kupastuntas.co, Lampung English - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel noted that as many as 85 thousand vehicles have been registered for the right subsidy program in Lampung Province through the MyPertamina application.

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has begun implementing a bio-diesel fuel subsidy program using the MyPertamina application at all Public Fuel Filling Stations in the Lampung Province area.

Area Manager Communication, Relations & corporate social responsibility for southern Sumatra of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Tjahyo Nikho Indrawan said, the implementation of subsidized fuel oil purchases using a new barcode was applied to bio diesel.

"Meanwhile, there is no information regarding the Types of General Fuel Filling Stations for Special Assignments or pertalite. What is clear is that if the revision of Presidential Decree No. 191 of 2014 already exists, we will refer to all of them for Specific Types of Fuel or Types of Fuel for Special Assignments," he said, Thursday 23 March 2023.

He revealed, the purchase of bio-diesel type Public Fuel Filling Stations using the barcode is valid at all Public Fuel Filling Stations in Lampung Province with a total of 170 units. If people do not use barcodes, purchases are limited to 20 liters.

"For areas that are constrained by our network, there is already a mechanism for this, which obviously cannot harm the Public Fuel Filling Stations," he explained.

He explained, currently there are as many as 85 thousand vehicles in Lampung Province that have been registered with the right subsidy program. Meanwhile, the consumption of bio-diesel at Public Fuel Filling Stations in the Lampung region is around 2,209 kilo liters per day.

“Currently the entire registration process is still ongoing. We appeal to the public to immediately register their vehicles so that the distribution of subsidized public fuel stations can really be on target," he said.

He explained, the purchase of subsidized fuel oil has been regulated in Presidential Regulation Number 191 of 2014 and Decree of the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency Number 04/P3JBT/BPH Migas/Kom/2020.

"In the regulation, four-wheeled private vehicles are filled with 60 liters of subsidized diesel per day, 80 liters for four-wheeled passenger or goods vehicles, and six or more 200 liters per day for six-wheeled passenger or goods vehicles," he said.

Sopian Atiek, Head of the Energy and Mineral Resources Office of Lampung Province, explained that the Lampung Provincial Government has issued Circular Letter of the Governor of Lampung Number: 045.2/1058J/V.25/2023 concerning the implementation of the My Pertamina subsidy program.

"Today we check at the Public Fuel Filling Station because it coincides with the entry into force of purchasing diesel fuel using a barcode. Vehicles that buy diesel must use a barcode. For those who don't have it, they may buy it but are limited to 20 liters per day," said Sopian, Tuesday March 21, 2023.

He said PT Pertamina had prepared officers who would assist the community if they wanted to register their vehicles in the MyPertamina application or through the website http://www.subsiditepat.mypertamina.id.

"Indeed, in the early stages there were still people who were confused because the use of cellphones was still clueless. So this will be assisted with prepared files and photos of cars if public transportation has a kir test," he explained.

He explained, with the start of implementing the use of the MyPertamina application, the allocation of subsidized Public Fuel Filling Stations would be right on target. In addition, the quota for Public Fuel Filling Stations given to Lampung Province in a year will be sufficient.

"This will also reduce the crime of fraud. Because usually what makes the quota less is because the Public Fuel Filling Station is misused. Some have modified the tank. But with the barcode it has been integrated and cannot commit fraud," he explained.

He continued, on the island of Sumatra there are already several areas that have implemented the MyPertamina application, such as Bengkulu and Padang provinces which are vehicle crossing areas.

"Last month the conditions for registering at MyPertamina were only 7 percent, and maybe now it's 10 to 15 percent. Our target is that if it's 80 percent then it's full, if you don't use a barcode, you can't buy subsidized public refueling stations," he said. (*)
