Police Expose Illegal Action Mixed Fertilizer Practices in Palas South Lampung Indonesia

South Lampung - The Palas Sector Police, South Lampung Regency of Indonesia succeeded
in uncovering the practice of mixing fertilizers with a turnover of tens
millions rupiah carried out by Julianto (33).
The police
also confiscated 10 tons of mixed fertilizer, which had been loaded onto a Colt
Diesel truck and was to be sent to Palembang City, South Sumatra.
Palas
Chief Police, AKP Andi Yunara explained, his staff succeeded in securing the
perpetrators on Tuesday (7/3/2023) at 09.00 AM.
"The
perpetrator Julianto was caught red-handed in the act of mixing fertilizer in
an empty house in Kuningan Hamlet, Tanjungsari Village, Palas District,"
said the Palas Police Chief, Wednesday (8/3/2023) morning.
The
perpetrator Julianto himself is a resident of Banyumas Hamlet, Tanjungsari
Village, Palas District and received his last education at junior high school.
He was caught
red-handed by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Palas Police, Aipda Muhyi,
in the middle of mixing Phonska brand fertilizer using a scope.
"The
perpetrators mixed or mixed 2 tons of Phonska fertilizer with 6 tons of
Dolomite and 2 tons of Borax," continued the police chief.
Then, the
mixed fertilizer is packed back into 50-kilogram sacks of fertilizer with the
MPK Mahkota brand and sewn using a sack sewing machine.
Next, 10
tons of the mixed fertilizer was loaded into a blue Colt Diesel truck with
number BG 8533 JD to be sent to the Palembang area, South Sumatra.
"During
the loading process, we arrested the perpetrator Julianto. Furthermore, the
perpetrator was secured at the Palas Police for further legal
proceedings," said Andi Yunara.
From the
hands of the perpetrators, the police also confiscated evidence including 1
Colt Diesel car with a load of 10 tons of MPK Mahkota mixed fertilizer, 16
white sacks of Phonska brand fertilizer, 21 white list sacks of MPK fertilizer
with orange list, 1 sitting scale, 2 a wooden-handled scope and 1 unit of sack
sewing machine.
According
to the Kapolsek, the perpetrators have been selling fertilizer for a long time,
but there are indications of fertilizer mixing by new players in the 2 harvest
seasons.
"The
perpetrator worked alone and was only assisted by pelvic laborers, for a
turnover of mixed fertilizer sales of around Rp. 50 million," Andi Yunara
explained.
For the
fraudulent behavior carried out by the perpetrator, he is threatened with
criminal articles and will be prosecuted up to the court.
"The
perpetrator is suspected of violating Article 121 in conjunction with Article
66 (5) and/or Article 122 in conjunction with Article 73 of Law Number 22 of
2019 concerning sustainable agricultural cultivation," he concluded. (*)
