Kupastuntas.co, Bandar Lampung - Two fire incidents occurred almost simultaneously in the City of Bandar Lampung, Lampung Province, Indonesia, Friday 3 March 2023.

The first location of the fire occurred on Jalan Permadu RT 05, New Arrangement, Tanjung Karang Barat, Bandar Lampung at around 11.00 AM.

The fire occurred at the victim's house named Taufik. In this incident, one bedroom unit in the victim's house measuring 3 meters x 3 meters was burnt.

Head of the Fire and Rescue Department of the Bandar Lampung City Government, Sutarno, said that initially his party received reports of a fire around 11.00 AM. Then his team immediately sent three units of firefighters to the location.

"We will deploy 10 personnel from Platoon A of the Bandar Lampung Fire Service. Then one unit of the 011 Mako Tendean Fire Department car, one unit of the Tanjung Karang Barat Post Karba Damkar car, and one unit of the Langkapura Post Fire Department car," said Sutarno.

The fire was extinguished in about 50 minutes or 11.50 WIB to be exact. Due to this incident, the victim suffered a loss of around IDR 5 million. "The cause is still being investigated, there were no casualties," he said.

Separately, a fire also occurred on Jalan Bumi Manti, Kampung Baru Raya, Labuhan Ratu Bandar Lampung at around 12.00 AM.

The fire occurred in the kitchen of the victim's house named M. Emil. The puff of smoke from the fire came from the victim's presto which was on the stove.

Sutarno explained that the fire was allegedly caused by a gas cylinder leak belonging to the victim M. Emil.

In this incident, his party deployed as many as 3 personnel and one Fire Brigade unit. The fire was extinguished in about 10 minutes.

"What caught fire was just presto, the reason for this was the victim's gas cylinder leaked. There were no casualties," he said. (*)
