Kupastuntas.co, Central Lampung - The 200-meter connecting provincial road in Gunung Sugih District and Kota Gajah District, Central Lampung Regency was badly damaged and very concerning.

From kupastuntas.co monitoring, if you are not careful when driving, large types of cars such as trucks can flip over.

One of the truck drivers, Wanto, really regretted the condition of the road because the Gunung Sugih and Gajah City axis roads were the main roads for people to transport agricultural products and other businesses.

"On this route, there are two cassava factories. This is of course very disturbing for the drivers, if the road conditions are bad like this," said Wanto, when met by the kupastuntas.co team at the location. Monday, February 20, 2023.

Wanto hopes that the government will immediately repair the Gunung Sugih and Gajah City roads, to be precise in front of the gas station.

Wanto admitted that the road had already been repaired, but in just a matter of months it was damaged again.

"Please officials in charge prioritize road repairs, because good roads will also make people prosperous," he hoped.

Rahmad, a resident of the Gajah city sub-district who is also a shop owner in the area, admitted that he really felt the impact of the road damage, because some people who wanted to come to his shop became lazy due to the badly damaged condition of the nets.

"During the rainy season, in front of it there will be a pool of water up to 70 centimeters deep, if you are not careful the motorbike can get stuck, especially for automatic motorbikes," said Rahmad.

Apart from that, he continued, during the dry season there is a lot of dust and it is very disturbing for shop owners and stalls on the route.

He hopes the government will make improvements soon. "At least just backfill it first so there are no holes," he said. (*)
