The Mega Project for the Development of the Lampung Sport Center Swallows a Budget of 4.7 Trillion
Kupastuntas.co, South Lampung - The Provincial Government of Lampung will build a sports center building worth 4.7 trillion rupiahs and is expected to be completed within the next 5 years.
Deputy Governor of Lampung, Chusnunia Chalim said, the construction was in accordance with the Decree of the Governor of Lampung Number: G/730/B.06/HK/22 concerning the determination of the location for the construction of a sports activity center and its facilities, dated 30 November 2022.
"The construction of the Lampung Sport Center is estimated to take the next 5 years or the 2023-2028 period," said Nunik, her nickname when visiting the location, Monday (20/2/2023).
The Lampung Sport Center mega project, built in the Kota Baru area near the Toll Road Exit of the Sumatra Institute of Technology (ITERA) campus, Jati Agung District, South Lampung Regency.
"The amount is 4.7 trillion, collaboration funds from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget and the Regional Expenditure Budget," continued Nunik.
Nunik added, the construction of the Lampung Sport Center will begin in 2023. Where, the sports arena will be the first building to be worked on.
For the construction of its own stadium, the Provincial Government of Lampung will use international standards, namely FIFA standards.
There are 14 sports facilities that will be built later, including a soccer field, an aquatic stadium with 10 tracks for swimming athletes.
Then, a sports arena (GOR) with a capacity of 10 thousand people, a baseball field, an archery field and a golf course.
"Wisma Athletes, mixed used buildings, mosques, towers, convention center with a capacity of 15 thousand people and exhibition hall," said Nunik.
Head of the Lampung Regional Development Planning Agency, Mulyadi Irsan explained, the construction of the Lampung Sport Center will be carried out step by step.
"This will be built in stages, this development is carried out of course to support sports in Lampung," Mulyadi said briefly. (*)
