Election Supervisory Agency: Election Vulnerability Potential in Bandar Lampung is High
Kupastuntas.co,
Bandar Lampung - Based on a study released by the Election Supervisory Board of
the Republic of Indonesia (Bawaslu RI) based on the election vulnerability
index (IKP) in 2024, the City of Bandar Lampung is in a fairly high vulnerable
category. This was conveyed by the Chairman of the Bandar Lampung Bawaslu,
Candrawansyah.
"Bandar
Lampung city, based on the launch of the IKP for the 2024 Election by the
Indonesian Bawaslu, is in a quite vulnerable category, where the political
dynamics ahead of the 2024 Election will warm up from every stage it goes
through," said Candrawansyah, Tuesday (14/02/2023).
He
explained, the vulnerable categories in question were the vulnerability to the
voter list sector, the vulnerability to special polling stations at prisons,
elite housing that was difficult to record because the homeowner was not at
home.
"This
vulnerability is a concern for Bawaslu to issue an early warning in order to
carry out supervision, as well as an early warning for those involved and involved,"
he explained.
According
to him, the study issued by the Bawaslu RI makes it easy for regional Bawaslu
to map vulnerable areas and stages that are vulnerable.
"From
that, we can keep an eye on it even better, because from the start we have been
told that the city of Bandar Lampung is quite high in vulnerability," he
said.
To
anticipate potential vulnerabilities in the 2024 election, the Bandar Lampung
City Bawaslu has formed complaint posts spread across 20 existing
sub-districts.
"The community can report to Bawaslu at the complaint post
that has been prepared, if they find suspected violations," he concluded.
