Bulog Lampung Indonesia Targets to Distribute 40 Thousand Tons of Rice in 2023
Kupastuntas.co,
Bandar Lampung - The Lampung Regional Logistics Agency Public Company (Perum
Bulog) targets to distribute 40 thousand tons of rice through market operations
or the Food Supply and Price Stabilization program in 2023.
Head of
Perum Bulog Regional Division of Lampung, Etik Yulianti said, in order to stabilize
the price of rice, her party continues to pour rice every day to traditional
markets and several rice shops.
"The
Bulog rice that we pour out every day will last until the end of the year. And
this is not only in Bandar Lampung but throughout Lampung Province. We have
18,000 tons of stock ourselves and will continue to increase with the absorption
of grain," said Etik, Monday (13/2/2023).
Even Bulog
Lampung will also directly go down to the sub-districts to be able to
distribute rice at affordable prices so that it is directly accepted by the
community.
"We
will also go directly to the people in the sub-district, so we will gather them
in one place like what was done yesterday at Sukadana Ham. So we will go
directly to the community," She continued.
She
explained, the market operation will be carried out until the end of the year
with the hope that the increase in rice prices can continue to be suppressed.
"We will continue to do this, because it is not yet harvest
time, people's stocks are also thin," She explained. (*)
