Kupastuntas.co, Bandar Lampung - In order to prevent child abductions in Bandar Lampung Indonesia, the local government is taking several security measures to prevent this from happening.

Mayor of Bandar Lampung, Eva Dwiana said, regarding the issue of child abductions, his party had ordered village officials, neighborhood heads and security forces to carry out patrols in their respective areas.

"We also appeal to all residents if their children are playing, don't trust anyone, except their own parents. Because we don't know that crime is increasingly rampant," he said, when questioned at the Semergou building, Tuesday (31/1/2023).

Apart from that, his party also asked every school and teachers, if it is not the parents who pick up the children at school then it is not allowed.

"Moreover, there will be a coordination meeting with the head of the school, God willing, on Wednesday we will inform them there, so those who pick them up really have to be the parents or their families," said Eva.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Bandar Lampung Civil Service Police, Ahmad Nurizki, said that regarding the case of child kidnapping which went viral for a while, he admitted that he had gathered his members to tour and be on standby around the Bandar Lampung City area.

"Then in every school there are also our members who stand guard every morning and afternoon on the side of the road," he said.

Apart from that, said Rizki, if there are enough members, they will patrol every residential complex of residents.

"Yes, we will give members to go around the inner alleys," he said. (*)
