Kupastuntas.co, Pringsewu - The Way Sekampung Dam, located in Pringsewu Regency Indonesia, is predicted to build a rowing sports center building, said Fadoli as the Head of the local Regional Development Planning Agency.

"The information we received is that Basuki, as the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing as well as Chair of the national rowing association, is trying to build a rowing sports center in Way Sekampung in the near future. This is of course very good for Pringsewu, there can become a center of economic growth," he said, Monday, (31/01/2023).

He said, for the exact time of the construction he did not know. However, he welcomed the information.

Apart from that, his party is also working on the area around the Way Sekampung Dam, which can be managed by the local regency government to become a tourism sector.

"We are working on the area around Way Sekampung to become a center of economic growth by becoming a tourist attraction. For now, investors have started to appear who will build hotels there," he said.

He also claimed that his party was designing Pringsewu Regency to become a center for trade and agriculture. This has been stated in the Pringsewu long-term development plan (RPJP) for 2022-2024.

"So the concept is that in villages there are cities, and in cities there are villages. For example, besides the Pringsewu welcome monument there are rice fields, even though there will be large buildings the elements of the rice fields will be maintained, and vice versa," he stated. (*)
