Subsidized Fertilizer Misappropriation Cases in Pringsewu, Regional Secretary Heri Iswahyudi Frequently Contacted by Special Prosecutor's Office
Kupastuntas.co,
Pringsewu - Regional Secretary of Pringsewu Regency Heri Iswahyudi admitted
that he was often contacted by Head of Pringsewu Special Prosecutor's Office
Yogie Verdika, regarding the handling of cases of subsidized fertilizer abuse
in Pringsewu. Yogie asked for directions to Heri so that the case would not be
expanded.
Heri Iswahyudi said
that Yogie asked for this directive to seem to lead to conditioning of the case
in a subtle way. Although, the Pringsewu Prosecutor's Office did not clearly
state the nominal amount of money.
"The first time I
was summoned by the Pringsewu Prosecutor's Office as a witness in the
subsidized fertilizer case on December 5, 2022. The summons in the photo was
then sent by Yogie Verdika via WhatsApp message. At that time I said I couldn't
come because I was on foreign service," said Heri Iswahyudi to Kupastuntas.co
in his office, Friday (13/1/23).
A few days later, Heri
complied with the Attorney General's summons to provide information. On this
occasion, Yogie asked for directions with whom to coordinate so that the case
would not be extended to the Agriculture Service and the Pringsewu District
Fertilizer Distribution Monitoring Team. "At that time, I answered
emphatically that there was no direction," he said.
Furthermore, on
December 15, 2022 Heri Iswahyudi was again summoned by the Pringsewu
Prosecutor's Office. When meeting with Yogie, Heri admitted that he was just
chatting normally. "Yogie said that next week I will come again to the
Pringsewu District Attorney's office," said Heri.
Then on December 29,
2022, Yogie Verdika again sent a message via WhatsApp to Heri Iswahyudi to come
again to the Pringsewu Prosecutor's office.
"At that time Yogie
asked what time I could come to the Attorney General's Office. Since the next
day there was an agenda for inaugurating functional officials, I said I
couldn't come in the morning," he said.
Only on December 30,
2022, Heri complied with the Attorney General's summons to undergo an
examination. Just before the time for Friday prayers, Heri gave permission to
go for Friday prayers.
"Yogie again
asked for directions with whom to coordinate. And Yogie said if not Monday or
Tuesday they want to come to the office to sign the release report," said
Heri.
On January 3, 2023, Yogie
met Heri Iswahyudi in his office. At that time Yogie informed that tomorrow the
Prosecutor's Office would release the suspect's determination. "I remain
adamant there is no directive, if you really want to set a suspect, please
release it," said Heri.
Heri said that he was
surprised when he was made a witness in his capacity as Head of the Fertilizer
and Pesticide Distribution Monitoring Team (TP3) for Pringsewu Regency.
"The TP3 consists of the regional leadership communication forum (Forkopimda),
the Attorney General's Office, the Indonesian national army (TNI) and the
Police. Then from 2018 to 2021, TP3 was not formed in Pringsewu. Meanwhile, the
fertilizer case is being handled by the Attorney General for 2020-2021,"
said Heri.
Based on Peel Complete
Monitoring at the Pringsewu Prosecutor's Office, from Monday (9/1/23) to Friday
(13/1/23) neither the Head of Special Investigation Unit nor the Pringsewu
Prosecutor's Office had yet to enter the office. Until the news was published,
Kajari Pringsewu Ade Indrawan and Kasi Pidsus Yogie Verdika could not be
contacted.
Until now, the
Pringsewu Prosecutor's Office has not named a single suspect in the case of
subsidized fertilizer abuse in Pringsewu. Although there have been hundreds of
witnesses examined.
Witnesses who were
examined included members of farmer groups, leaders of farmer association (Gapoktan),
fertilizer resellers, distributors, and the Department of Agriculture and had
confiscated documents for sending subsidized fertilizers from warehouses. As a
result of the inspection, several Gapoktan officials in several sub-districts resigned.
It is suspected that
in the handling of the subsidized fertilizer case, there were unscrupulous
prosecutors at the Pringsewu Prosecutor's Office who abused their authority.
"The information
I received was that retailers were asked for 25 million rupiah. I don't know
whether the said money has been given or not," said the source of Kupastuntas.co.
Previously it was
reported, due to the slow examination of the case of subsidized fertilizer
abuse in Pringsewu, the Organizational Resources Security team at the Junior
Attorney General's Intelligence Division at the Attorney General's Office
examined the Head of the Pringsewu State Prosecutor's Office Ade Indrawan and
Head of Special Investigation Unit Yogie Verdika at the Lampung High
Prosecutor's Office.
The Head of Public
Prosecutor's Office in Lampung, I Made Agus Putra, confirmed that there was an
examination by the prosecutor at the Lampung Attorney General's Office
regarding the abuse of authority.
Made revealed,
initially there was information coming to the leadership, then it was followed
up by the supervisory division, and currently an examination is being carried
out.
"We are still
carrying out an internal inspection. But there is no such thing as a
hand-catching operation. We are waiting for the results of the investigation.
We do not know who and how many prosecutors are being questioned," Made
said during a press conference at the Lampung High Court office, Thursday (5/1/23)
.
Asked whether the
inspection involved the Organizational Resource Security team and whether it
was related to the case of misappropriation of subsidized fertilizer
distribution in Pringsewu, Made admitted that he did not know.
"Yes what is
clear is that since yesterday there has been an investigation by the Pringsewu
District Attorney. But we don't know whether the inspection involved the
Organizational Resource Security team or not. I also don't know what the case
is," he added.
After an examination
was carried out at the Lampung Prosecutor's Office on Wednesday (4/1/23), neither
the Lampung Attorney General's Office nor the Attorney General's Office were
willing to disclose the results of the examination.
The head of the
Attorney General's Legal Information Center, Ketut Sumadema, when asked for
confirmation, invited journalists to inquire about the progress of the
investigation of Kajari Pringsewu and his members at the Lampung Attorney
General's Office. "Ask the Attorney General," said Ketut briefly via
WhatsApp message, Thursday (12/1/23).
Meanwhile, The Head of Public Prosecutor's Office in Lampung, I Made Agus Putra, when contacted chose to keep his mouth shut, not willing to give an answer regarding the progress of the examination. (*)
