Kupastuntas.co, Indonesia - Lampung Corruption Watch (LCW) and the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society urge the High Prosecutor's Office of Lampung Province to immediately publish the results of the investigation by the Kajari and Kasi Pidsus Pringsewu.

Previously, the AGO's Jamintel Organizational Resources Security Team examined prosecutors at the Attorney General's Office in Lampung. As for those being investigated on behalf of Ade Indrawan as the Head of the Pringsewu District Prosecutor's Office and Head of the Special Crimes Section Yogie Verdika.

The investigation is based on the alleged fertilizer case handled by the Pringsewu Prosecutor's Office. Where in this case the Prosecutor's Office stated that there was a Subsidized Fertilizer Mafia practice in Bumi Jejama Secancanan.

The Coordinator of the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society, Boyamin Saiman, appealed to the public to immediately open the examination of each prosecutor so that the public would not ask questions.

"I think whoever enforcers are naughty, must be dealt with firmly. It's better to cut one or two people than later to damage and pollute the institution," said Boyamin, when questioned, Monday, January 16, 2023.

So he said if the naughty prosecutor is proven guilty, there are two ways that can be processed, namely ethics and law.

"From an ethical perspective, if the violation is serious, it must be dishonorably dismissed, if the situation is moderate, it means administrative sanctions, if there is a legal process, it must be obeyed," he explained.

Meanwhile, the Head of LCW, Juendi Leksa Utama, encouraged the prosecutor's investigation to be immediately opened to the public so that the public would know the real issues so there would be no confusion.

"We have high hopes for law enforcement officials, including the prosecutor's office, in efforts to eradicate corruption by applying the principles of anti-corruption, collusion and nepotism. There is zero tolerance for perpetrators of extraordinary crimes, especially perpetrators of corruption," said Juendi.

In addition, LCW also requested that the prosecutor's examination not hinder and stop the case at the Pringsewu Prosecutor's Office, and that it should be taken over by the high prosecutor's office to avoid conflicts of interest.

"This fertilizer case has been around for a long time and LCW's monitoring in the media, the case has entered the prosecutor's investigation stage. It should speed up the position of the case by establishing who is responsible by establishing a suspect," he explained. (*)
