Kupastuntas.co, Bandar Lampung - The Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of Lampung Province noted that revenue from the realization of the Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) relief program in August reached IDR 17 billion.

Head of Bapenda Lampung Province Adi Erlansyah said the number of vehicles participating in the PKB program for two-wheeled vehicles was 6,233 units and 2,442 four-wheeled vehicles.

"The realization of our PKB relief program in August reached IDR 17,820,014,342. For the total number of vehicles participating in the PKB relief program, there were 8,685 vehicles," he said when questioned, Monday (4/9/2023).

He detailed the realization of PAD from the PKB relief program in April as much as IDR 14.16 billion with a total of 6,837 vehicles consisting of 4,811 two-wheeled vehicles and 2,026 four-wheeled vehicles.

Furthermore, in May the realization of PAD increased to IDR 17.77 billion with the number of vehicles participating as many as 8,824 consisting of 6,373 units of two-wheeled vehicles and 2,451 units of four-wheeled vehicles.

"Then in June it was IDR 13.71 billion with a total of 6,692 vehicles consisting of 4,779 motorbikes and 1,913 cars. This decreased because there was a national holiday for Eid al-Adha," he explained.

Meanwhile, in July the realization of PAD obtained was IDR 16.5 billion. With a total of 8,102 vehicles, consisting of 5,856 two-wheeled vehicles and 2,246 four-wheeled vehicles.

"Alhamdulillah, in August this year the income from the PKB program increased to IDR 17 billion. This has increased compared to the income in last July," he said.

On this occasion Adi invited all Lampung people to immediately take advantage of the PKB relief program which will soon end on September 30.

"Our hope is that the community will immediately take advantage of the PKB program, which is only a month away. Because it is not certain that in the following years the government will hold the same program," he explained.

Adi explained that his party continues to make various efforts to maximize the remaining time for the PKB program as best as possible.

"We are continuing to conduct socialization because there may be people who don't know that there is a PKB relief program. Usually it's also at the last time that people are willing to pay," he said.

As is known, the Lampung Provincial Government is currently providing Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) relief for the next six months. Where the relief will start from April 3 to September 30, 2023.

This policy has been contained in Governor Regulation (Pergub) Number 6 of 2023 concerning motorized vehicle tax relief and 2023 BBNKB.

For motorcycles with 150 cc a 70 percent relief is given, vehicles over 151 cc to 200 cc a 60 percent relief, vehicles over 201 cc a 50 percent relief. (*)
