Anwar continued that for the prevention program to suppress the spread of LSD in Lampung Province, his party was working with regional agencies and related parties to limit livestock traffic between regions, especially from outside Lampung and then require LSD-free test results and have been vaccinated.

"Until today, the number of livestock that have been vaccinated at the smallholder farmer level is 43,036 which have been reported in the National Animal Health Information System (Sikhnas). ," said Anwar.

As for vaccination at the livestock fattening company level, especially cattle, it has reached 115,890 livestock spread across Central Lampung, East Lampung, South Lampung and Pesawaran Regencies.

Meanwhile Deputy Chairman of Commission II DPRD Lampung Province I Made Bagiasa said that there must be synergy between the Government and the community to deal with this problem. Because according to him the government must be able to protect people when they need help and direction on a problem.

"Relevant agencies must also prepare a budget to deal with this problem by preparing field extension workers to provide socialization to the community on efforts to prevent the spread of LSD disease in resident livestock, because the mortality rate from LSD is very small so livestock must be cared for properly," he said. " he said.

"So the Government and the community must establish a good partnership by asking veterinarians or parties who understand their field what solutions can be made to overcome this problem so that breeders don't lose out, because the weather factor that is happening right now will definitely affect it so that if If livestock are not cared for properly, there will certainly be problems," he continued.

Made also stressed that the Provincial Government of Lampung could ensure the availability of drugs and vaccines for livestock infected with LSD. Don't let the public find it difficult to get stock of medicines and vaccines, especially for areas where LSD has spread to livestock.

"The Lampung Provincial Government must prepare it. If the community has difficulty getting medicine, where should they go, so the Provincial Government needs to activate field extension workers with all the facilities so that they can interact more intensely with breeders to find them solution to the problem of LSD," he concluded.
