Head of Investment Service and One Stop Services for Lampung Province, Yudhi Alfadri said investment realization for Lampung Province came from 3 sectors, namely food crops, plantations and livestock.

"In the first semester, our investment has realized IDR 5.99 trillion or 54.5 percent of the target set by the Investment Coordinating Board, which is IDR 11 trillion," said Yudhi, Sunday 6 August 2023.

He said Lampung investment consisted of foreign investment of IDR 1.91 trillion, growing 87.37 y on y and was ranked 6th in Sumatra and ranked 23rd nationally with 270 projects that absorbed 2,195 Indonesian workers and 13 foreign workers. .

"Then Domestic Investment amounted to IDR 4.08 trillion, grew 29.80 y on y, ranked 8th in Sumatra and ranked 21st nationally with 1,862 projects that succeeded in absorbing a workforce of 9,073 Indonesian workers," he explained.

He explained that the area with the largest investment realization was Central Lampung with an amount of IDR 1,606,627.28, then Bandar Lampung with an amount of IDR 1,044,969.56, South Lampung IDR 964,884.34 then Mesuji IDR 725,156.97 and East Lampung IDR 349,445 ,91.

Whereas FDI investment realization by country was Malaysia Rp. 541,244.10, Singapore Rp. 825,509.41, China Rp. 258,027.25, Japan Rp. 67,332.53, Hong Kong Rp. 31,577.25, India Rp. 37,953.11.

"Then the British Virgin Islands Rp. 29,586.67, the Netherlands Rp. 3,473.56, South Korea Rp. 3,347.76, England Rp. 1,195.84, Australia Rp. 4,318.64, Thailand Rp. 319.68, Cayman Island Rp. 355.20 , Taiwan IDR 96.20, Luxembourg IDR 93.24, Switzerland IDR 92,727.92 and Belgium IDR 12,258.84," he said.

On the other hand, Assistant Director of KPw Bank Indonesia Province of Lampung, Tri Setyoningsih said, this year there were five investment project proposals in Lampung namely Bakauheni Harbor City, Agripark Bandar Lampung, Geothermal Way Ratai, Tanggamus Industrial Area and Waste to Energy Bakung Final Disposal Site. .

"Right now what is also being prioritized is that the proposed new project in East Lampung coincides with investment promotion. The areas are in Pasir Sakti and Labuhan Maringgai. This fits our investment theme, namely food security," he said.

Meanwhile, other investment proposals are in progress. But what already has a lot of progress is Bakauheni Harbor City, which has begun to build several buildings and a tourist destination, namely Krakatau Park.
