Kupastuntas.co, Bandar Lampung - The Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of Lampung Province noted that as many as 30,455 vehicles in the local area have participated in the Motor Vehicle Tax relief program (PKB) which has been held since April.

The Head of the Lampung Province Bapenda, Adi Erlansyah, said that the realization of local revenue (PAD) from the PKB relief program which had been held from April to July reached IDR 62.18 billion.

"From April to July, the realization of the PAD obtained from the PKB program was Rp. 62.18 billion. The number of vehicles alone was 30,455 units, consisting of 21,819 two-wheelers and 8,636 four-wheelers," he said when questioned, Tuesday (1/8 /2023).

Meanwhile, the realization of PAD from the PKB relief program in April was Rp. 14.16 billion with a total of 6,837 vehicles consisting of 4,811 two-wheeled vehicles and 2,026 four-wheeled vehicles.

Furthermore, in May the realization of PAD increased to IDR 17.77 billion with the number of vehicles participating as many as 8,824 consisting of 6,373 units of two-wheeled vehicles and 2,451 units of four-wheeled vehicles.

"Then in June it was IDR 13.71 billion with a total of 6,692 vehicles consisting of 4,779 motorbikes and 1,913 cars. This decreased because there was a national holiday for Eid al-Adha," he explained.

Meanwhile, in July the realization of PAD was IDR 16.5 billion. With a total of 8,102 vehicles consisting of 5,856 two-wheeled vehicles and 2,246 four-wheeled vehicles.

"We also continue to appeal to the people of Lampung to be able to take advantage of this vehicle tax relief program as best as possible. Don't let it pile up at the end of the implementation," he said.

As is well known, the Provincial Government of Lampung is holding a PKB and BBNKB relief program which will start from April 3 to September 2023.

This policy has been contained in Governor Regulation (Pergub) Number 6 of 2023 concerning tax relief for motorized vehicles and BBNKB for 2023. (*)
