Kupastuntas.co, Lampung English - The Lampung Police Directorate of Criminal Investigation has named 3 suspects out of 9 members of an anarchist motorcycle gang who wanted to fight on Jalan Way Sekampung, Sumur Batu Village, Teluk Betung Utara District, Bandar Lampung, Thursday 8 June 2023 around 04.00 AM.

Kasubdit 3 Jatanras Ditreskrimum Polda Lampung, Kompol M Ali Muhaidori said, the three people named as suspects namely MDP is 21 years old, AP is 18 years old, and MRD is 17 years old.

"The three were named as suspects in possession of sharp weapons and they admitted their actions," said Ali, Friday, June 9, 2023.

Ali explained that the motive of the suspects in carrying out the anarchist action was because they wanted to show their existence as a motorcycle gang or gangster, then challenged other opponents through social media.

"So they recorded themselves, then broadcast live on social media Instagram @prs02lampung. They are members of the Brother Family Teluk motorcycle gang and the Casual Youth Association (PRS 02) based in Lungsir," he said.

The evidence secured was in the form of 8 blades of various types of sharp weapons, 2 motorcycles, and a flag that read Brothers Family Teluk, Casual Youth Association (PRS 02). To account for his actions, now the three suspects have been detained at the Lampung Regional Police Headquarters.

The MDP and AP suspects are suspected of Article 2 Paragraph (1) of Emergency Law No. 12 of 1951 concerning the Misuse of Sharp Weapons.

Meanwhile, MRD children who are in conflict with the law are subject to Article 2 Paragraph (1) of the Emergency Law No. 12 of 1951 concerning the Misuse of Sharp Weapons in conjunction with Law No. 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Justice System.

Meanwhile, the MRD suspect admitted that he was just fad and wanted to be recognized by another motorcycle gang. "Just for fun, sir, let me be recognized," in short.

Previously, the Lampung Police arrested 9 members of a motorcycle gang suspected of wanting to fight on Jalan Way Sekampung, Sumur Batu Village, Teluk Betung Utara District, Bandar Lampung, Thursday 8 June 2023 around 04.00 AM.

The 9 members of the motorcycle gang have the initials GR, AP, KJ, MRD, FA, VD, MRL, MAU, DP. The action of the nine teenagers was considered anarchic because they had damaged several roofs of residents' houses. (*)
