The Head of the Lampung Province Transportation Service, Bambang Sumbogo said, the three locations were in the former weighbridge in Gayam Village, South Lampung Regency, Tiga Saudara Restaurant and the KM 20B rest area.

He explained, the location for purchasing crossing tickets is provided to avoid the accumulation of vehicles that do not yet have tickets online in the Ferizy application.

"Because the Port currently no longer serves manual purchases. Because now it's Ferizy, all those from Sumatra can buy tickets online and in the buffer zone, rest areas and restaurants that have been provided," he explained.

Bambang explained that in 2022 there will be 1,124,756 passengers using ferry transportation and 242,662 vehicles for vehicles.

The number is predicted to increase by 3 percent so that passengers will be 1,158,499 passengers and for vehicles 249,942 vehicles. (*)
