During the inspection, the joint team found 4 ASN employees shopping during working hours.

Assistant II for Economic Affairs and Development for Bandar Lampung City, Tole Dailami said the joint team conducting the inspection today consisted of the Inspectorate, the Regional Civil Service Agency, the Civil Service Police Unit and related agencies.

"The result was that four employees of the State Civil Apparatus were caught shopping, namely at the Lampung City Mall and at Candra Karang," he said.

Tole admitted, one of the four State Civil Apparatuses came from the district, then the rest were teachers or from the Education Office.

"The sanction is we will only give them a warning, we will write down their names and give them to their leaders," he said.

He admitted that inspections in the context of enforcing employee discipline during working hours would continue to be carried out during the month of Ramadan.

Moreover, the holiday allowance has been disbursed, so it is feared that many employees will still shop during working hours.

"We don't forbid them from shopping in official attire, but not during office hours. Because if people see it like this, it will create a negative image,” he explained.

Because of that, Tole appealed to employees at the local municipal government not to hang around before working hours.
