Kupastuntas.co, Bandar Lampung - Type A Rajabasa Terminal has started to check (Ramp Check) the condition of the vehicles that will be used by travelers on this year's Eid.

Head of Daily Rajabasa Terminal, Marsusi said, the fleet feasibility check which has been carried out since February 27, has totaled 95 vehicles to date.

"Checking vehicles from February 27 to April 14, 2023 is to ensure that public transportation is safe to use during the Lebaran homecoming," said Marsusi, when met at his office, Thursday (6/4/2023).

"In total, we checked 95 vehicles. However, 78 of them were roadworthy, while 17 were not roadworthy," he added.

Of this amount, continued Marsusi, his party checked only Inter-City Inter-Provincial Transportation (AKAP) buses and tourism vehicles. Meanwhile, the authority for City Inner City Transport (AKDP) buses lies with the Provincial Transportation Service.

"We carry out Ramp Checks on vehicles that enter the Rajabasa terminal only, namely AKAP and Tourism. But apart from that we also carry out the Damri, Rosalia and Puspa pools," he explained.

He admitted that after the vehicle was declared roadworthy, his party affixed a sticker from the Ministry of Transportation.

"If the vehicle is not roadworthy we will not put a sticker on it, until they fix what has been warned," said Marsusi.

He also appealed to users of bus services during Eid transportation to use vehicles that have been affixed with stickers from the ministry of transportation.

"We warn this because it concerns the safety of passengers as well, and the trips of these travelers are safe and comfortable," he closed. (*)
