A Husband and Wife from Lampung Become Victims of the Murder of a Money-Making Shaman
Kupastuntas.co, Lampung English - A husband and wife from Sumba Retno Hamlet, Tanjung Rejo Village, Way Khilau District, Pesawaran, Lampung became victims of the murder of a money-making shaman named Tohari alias Mbah Slamet in Balun Village, Wanayasa District, Banjar Negara Regency, Central Java.
Kasatreskrim Polres Pesawaran, AKP Supriyanto Husin confirmed that there were two Pesawaran residents who were victims of the murder of the shaman who multiplied the money.
"We have confirmed this to the Head of Tanjung Rejo Village. Based on the information we have collected, the couple are residents of Sumba Retno Hamlet, Tanjung Rejo Village," said AKP Supriyanto Husin representing the Pesawaran Police Chief, AKBP Pratomo Widodo, Wednesday. April 5, 2023.
Supriyanto said, from the results of the information obtained, the couple had migrated to Java Island around September 2021. "Since then they have lost contact with the couple. Because there were 12 victims and two of them were victims of Pesawaran residents," he explained.
However, his party is still waiting for the results of the Deoxyribose Nucleic Acid test for the two victims to confirm this.
"Deoxyribose Nucleic Acid has not been carried out. We are still waiting for further information from the Central Java Regional Police, whether a Deoxyribose Nucleic Acid test will be carried out to confirm the identities of the two," he said.
According to Supriyanto, there are indications that the couple are residents of Pesawaran because they have lost contact for a long time. Because of that, the family seemed to confirm that the two residents were his family.
"Because there has been no communication for a long time, it's as if the families have agreed. However, we are ready to facilitate if the Central Java Police coordinates with the Lampung Police to match Deoxyribose Nucleic Acid with the families in Pesawaran," he said.
Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Regional Police Kombes Pol Zahwani Pandra Arsyad confirmed that two Pesawaran residents were victims of the murder of a dukun duplicating money in Banjarnegara. Pandra said the victims were a married couple named Irsad, 44, and Wahyu Tri Ningsih, 41.
"Two Lampung residents are true. They are residents of Pesawaran Regency, a husband and wife," said Pandra, Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
Pandra revealed that the Lampung Regional Police planned to take samples of the victim's Deoxyribose Nucleic Acid to help the Central Java Regional Police uncover the case.
"We have prepared the equipment to carry out the Deoxyribose Nucleic Acid test on the victim's family, we have also coordinated with the Pesawaran Police and the local government," he explained.
Pandra explained that his party had also coordinated with the Pesawaran Police and the local government to approach the victims' families.
"We have communicated directly with the Pesawaran Police Chief and the Pesawaran Regent, and currently they are approaching and reviewing the victims' families," he said.
Previously, Banjarnegara Police Chief, AKBP Hendri Yulianto said, as many as 12 bodies of victims of premeditated murder carried out by the shaman Tohari, alias Mbah Slamet, 45, had been found, and two of them were from Lampung.
"Today, Tuesday April 4 2023, two more bodies were found, bringing a total of 12 bodies," he said during a press conference at the burial site of the victim's body in Balun Village, Wanayasa District, Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java, Tuesday, April 4 2023 afternoon.
During the press conference, the suspect Mbah Slamet was also presented and the Police Chief asked him to remember the identities of the victims who were buried at every point the officers had dug up.
Of the several holes where the bodies of the victims were buried, Mbah Slamet could only remember one point, namely the two bodies that were just found on Tuesday, which he said came from Lampung. While others do not remember.
"Earlier Slamet was asked whose name this hole was, he forgot, the other holes also forgot. But the location is at the very top, the last one today, he still remembers," explained the police chief.
Based on the suspect's statement, he said, the bodies in the hole belonged to Erzat and his wife whose name was unknown and they were known to be from Lampung.
Nevertheless, he admitted that he could not be sure because the suspect's statement during interrogation sometimes changed.
"But for today, April 4, 2023, he said that it was in the name of Erzat and another woman, his wife, but he didn't know him. So today we found two bodies, bringing a total of 12 bodies," he explained.
Thus, he said, his party would automatically carry out autopsies on the two bodies that had just been found.
Regarding the results of the autopsies on the 10 bodies previously found, he said that his party had not yet received the results because this was part of the investigation and filing process which had to be included in the case files.
"Later we will study it because in court the results of the autopsy will also be disclosed," he explained. Furthermore, the Police Chief said that the execution of the victims was carried out by the suspect Mbah Slamet himself.
Even before the victim was executed using a drink that had been mixed with sedatives and potassium cyanide, the hole that would be used to bury the victim's body had not been prepared.
According to him, the suspect dug the hole himself after it was confirmed that the victim had died. While the other suspect with the initials BS, he continued, only acted as an intermediary or person who brought the victim together with Mbah Slamet because by chance the person concerned uploaded information to Facebook that TH had the ability to multiply money.
"So BS's role is only to bring it together. So in our opinion, his role is to bring the victim together with the suspect Slamet, so automatically the article also participates," he said.
Asked about the 10 bodies previously found, the Police Chief said that one body with the initials PO, who was first found and was the last victim before the case was uncovered, had been brought by his family to Sukabumi, West Java. Meanwhile, nine other bodies were found on Monday 3 April 2023.
Because they had finished undergoing autopsies, the nine bodies were buried at the Balun Village Public Cemetery on Tuesday 4 April 2023.
"If we really need it later, we can dismantle it again. As for these two, we will have an autopsy tonight," he said.
On this occasion, the suspect Slamet recounted the chronology of the murders, starting from leaving the house, rituals, to the execution and burial processes.
The execution is always carried out by the suspect at 19.30 WIB after a ritual in the form of chatting with the victim while being given a drink mixed with sedatives and potash.
After being confirmed dead, the suspect immediately prepared a hole to bury the victim's body. Regarding the role of the suspect BS, Slamet confirmed that the person concerned did not know about the murder. (*)
