Transportation of Goods Will Be Limited During Eid Homecoming, Note the Date

Transportation (Kemenhub) will place restrictions on the movement of goods
transport during the homecoming and return flows on the Eid al-Fitr 2023.
The Head of the Lampung Provincial Transportation Agency,
Bambang Sumbogo, explained that later the restrictions on goods transportation
would be divided into three periods.
"So this restriction on the transportation of goods
will be divided into three periods. Because later there will be a special
return flow for students who are on school holidays. So it will be divided into
three," he said during a coordination meeting at Mahan Agung, the
Governor's Office in Lampung, Monday (3/4/2023) ).
He explained that the restrictions on the transportation of
goods in the first period were carried out on 17 April 2023 starting at 16.00 PM
until 21 April 2023 until 24.00 PM.
Then the restriction on the transportation of goods during
the first reverse flow starts on 24 April 2023 at 00.00 AM until 26 April 2023
at 08.00 AM. The second period will continue from 29 April at 00.00 AM to 2 May
2023 at 08.00 AM.
"Restrictions on the operation of goods cars include
goods cars with a total permitted weight (JIB) of more than 14,000 kg, goods
cars with 3 or more axles and attached carriages or trailers," he said.
Then the goods car is used to transport excavated products
such as soil, sand, mined stone and also building materials.
"Meanwhile, goods vehicles that are exempt are carriers
of fuel oil (BBM) and gas fuel (BBG), livestock, fertilizers, cash transfers,
staples and motorbikes going home or going back for free," he said.
Bambang said that goods cars that get exemptions must be
accompanied by a bill of lading. Where the bill of lading is issued by the
owner of the goods being transported.
"And this must include the type of goods being
transported, the purpose of sending the goods, the name and address of the
owner of the goods as well as a letter of lading attached to the left
windshield of the car," he said. (*)
