A House in Lampung Indonesia Burns to the Ground
Kupastuntas.co, Lampung English - As a result of the intense fire, the house belonging to Sukiman, a resident of RT 004/ RW. 001 Tiyuh Indraloka II, Way Kenanga District, West Tulang Bawang Regency, was razed to the ground, on Saturday 1 April 2023 evening.
None of the household items were saved, only the clothes on the body and the motorbike that the victim was carrying.
"The incident was discovered around 09.22 PM after pray. At that time the situation was starting to quiet down, residents were already resting," said Nengah Parte, Head of Indraloka II Village, when confirmed, Sunday 2 April 2023 afternoon.
Nengah explained, currently residents are helping to clean up the rubble of the former fire building.
"It happened on Saturday night Sunday. Now residents are working together in the fire incident," he explained.
According to information from Sukiman, when the incident occurred he was out buying medicine. "After tarawih, I went out to buy medicine. At home, only my wife was watching television. My wife said that a fire had started from an electrical terminal in the television path," he said.
Meanwhile Deputy Head of the Disaster Mitigation Agency, Sudarmi said, his party coordinated with the Chairman of the Leadership Council of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle branch to go to the location to participate in helping the victims.
"I was accompanied by friends from the cadres of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle, in coordination with the chairman, to directly help the victims, besides providing compensation. In accordance with the party's orders, we must be responsive to citizens' problems. Always be with the people in joy and sorrow," explained Sudarmi. (*)
