43 Business Places in Bandar Lampung Sealed for Not Paying Taxes
Kupastuntas.co, Lampung English - The Bandar Lampung Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency noted that it had sealed 43 business premises that did not pay taxes from January to March 2023.
"Today we are sealing two places of taxpayers, namely PT. Bukit Alam Surya and PT. Suseno. So that in total at the beginning of 2023 we have sealed 43 places," said the Functional Officer of Central and Regional Financial Analyst at the Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency Bandar Lampung, Ferry Budiman, when confirmed, Tuesday 28 March 2023.
The amount of arrears PT. Bukit Alam Surya, which is located on Jalan Bukit Alam Surya, Tanjung Karang Timur, Tanjung Gading, District of Peace, City of Bandar Lampung, which is IDR 1.8 billion in arrears for five years. While PT. Suseno IDR 19 million which is one year in arrears.
"The promise was that PT. Bukit Alam Surya promised to pay early next month. As for Suseno, he promised to pay in June," he said.
The place of business that has been sealed contains all types of taxes, such as land and building tax, restaurants, billboards and parking.
Apart from that, he also admitted that tomorrow he would carry out a re-sealing in the Bumi Sane area. Where there are about 7 to 8 places.
"Including the Sahid Hotel, which was five years in arrears yesterday, we will visit again. Because he has sent a letter, there will be installments, but until now there has been none," explained Ferry.
He appealed to taxpayers to comply with taxes and be punctual. Because if it is late it is considered one year in arrears.
"Paying taxes is very much needed for development, and later it will also lead to the welfare of the people in Bandar Lampung," he said.
Because it is clear, for sanctions given to stubborn taxpayers, their business license can be revoked.
"Even if it reaches a civil court in court, the assets can be confiscated and the arrears must be paid," he said. (*)
