Head of the People's Welfare Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of Lampung Province, Ria Andari said, in accordance with the circular letter, all iftar activities for officials and the State Civil Apparatus were abolished.

Ria explained, currently the Lampung Provincial Government has made a derivative of the Circular Letter of the Cabinet Secretary and also the Minister of Home Affairs in the form of a Circular Letter of the Governor of Lampung.

"The circular letter from the Governor of Lampung has also been prepared, perhaps tomorrow Monday we will issue it so that State Civil Apparatuses within the Lampung Provincial Government can heed the circular letter," he said.

Previously, President Jokowi asked for joint iftar activities among officials and the State Civil Apparatus during Ramadhan 1444 Hijri this time to be abolished.

This prohibition has been stated in the Cabinet Secretary's Letter Number 38/Seskab/DKK/03/2023 and the Minister of Home Affairs Circular Letter Number: 100.4.4/1731/SJ concerning holding iftar together. (*)
