Kupastuntas.co, Bandar Lampung - Lampung Regional Chief Police, Inspector General of Police Akhmad Wiyagus gave appreciation and awards to security officers and employees who succeeded in thwarting a robbery at Bank Arta, Friday (17/3/23) yesterday.

"I, as the Lampung Regional Police Chief, am very proud and appreciate the actions of my security colleagues and employees of Bank Arta Kedaton Makmur and Bank Mayora who have taken action beyond the call of duty and this is truly a courage that I really appreciate," he explained, during a joint rally at Lampung Police Headquarters, Monday (20/3/2023).

He also expressed that he hoped that the actions of the 6 members of the community could become a motivation for the personnel, especially the 308 Presisi Lampung Police Team and other ranks and members of the community.

"I express my gratitude and highest appreciation for the dedication and loyalty of all my colleagues. I hope that the awards given to today's outstanding personnel can be a motivation to achieve even more in efforts to uncover crimes," he concluded.

The Regional Police Chief explained that the joint rally was carried out as a form of readiness in order to maintain a conducive Public safety and order situation ahead of the 1444 Hijriah Month of Ramadan.

In that summons the Regional Police Chief explained, from January to March 2023 there were 2,508 cases of general crimes and 955 cases of C3 (Curas, Curat and Curanmor/ Theft with violence, theft with weighting, and motor vehicle theft) in Lampung.

"From January to March 2023, there have been 2,508 general crimes and 955 cases of C3 crimes," he said.

Based on these data, he revealed that the crime rate in Lampung, especially C3, was still quite high.

"Of course this is a challenge for us together and there are still many tasks that we must complete in order to guarantee a sense of security in society. Because it is not uncommon for C3 incidents to result in fatalities and vigilante actions," he said. (*)
