Acting Head of Metro City Social Service, I Made Wiryana said, the distribution of Non-Cash Food Assistance was carried out based on the Letter of the Director for Empowerment of Vulnerable Groups of the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number 591/6/BS.01/3/2023 dated March 7, 2023.

The contents of the Letter from the Director for Empowerment of Vulnerable Groups of the Ministry of Social Affairs regarding notification of the distribution of the basic food program for the period January to February 2023 through the Association of State-Owned Banks and Bank Syariah Indonesia.

"So based on the letter, the distribution of the basic food program directly to the account numbers of beneficiary residents or beneficiary families through Bank Rakyat Indonesia. For the period January-February 2023, the number of beneficiary families is 7,744 people," said Made, when questioned, Friday 17 March 2023.

He explained, the amount of assistance that will be given to each beneficiary family is IDR 200,000 per month. Payments are made for the period January - February 2023.

"The amount is IDR 200,000 per month. That means 2 months IDR 400,000. We hope that it will be in the middle of this month, we are waiting for the letter," he explained.

According to him, for now his party is still waiting for the official letter of distribution of the aid. His party has submitted the letter to be signed by the Mayor of Metro.

"Our notification letter to the community, it is being submitted to the Mayor, has not yet been signed. Later, based on that, we hope that the Lurah and Camat and their officials will be able to help monitor and facilitate the smooth distribution of aid to the community," he stated.
